    12 inches away from a 400 watt High pressure Sodium bulb is equal in intensity to a bright sunny day...



    Its quite amazing how much the human eye adjusts to different light situations.

    Especially when it comes to "yellow" light. It's incredible how discolored many indoor pictures turn out.

    My makeshift "studio lights" produce about 4,500 lumens . According to Google, at noon on a sunny day, during summer, with no clouds and less than 10% humidity, the sun produces about 6,000 lumens .
